Influencers

After YouTube and Instagram have experienced tremendous growth over the past 6 years. Influencers have also become an indispensable part of the social media platform. For those who have really been living under a rock and don't know what an influencer is, here's a quick definition.  

“An influencer is a person who has the power to influence the purchasing decisions of others because of his/her authority, knowledge, position, or relationship with his/her audience.”

Influencers can also be people from TV or politics or something else. But in recent years, influencers via social media have become very upcoming and are therefore also called influencers. 

Future

After a brief introduction about influencers, we can now move on to the future expected for influencers. More than 50 percent of influencers started producing content for brands in the past two years, while about a third only started last year. Many of them say that creating content and sharing this content is their passion. But they want something in return, through free products, services or financial compensation. In addition, sharing sponsored posts will only increase as it still works at the moment. Many consumers like to be able to 'connect' with someone and that is easy via social media. If someone looks like you or you would like to be like them, they are more likely to buy the products or services he or she recommends.
